This retreat will include two 90-minute active yoga practices and two yin or restorative practices with meditation interspersed throughout. You'll discover ways to become more in harmony with the season and learn about self-care techniques to help foster a rejuvenating experience. In between classes and meals you are welcome to explore the expansive and beautiful grounds on your own or join us in group nature hike to their Medicine Wheel and sit at its center, gazing into the long views of the White Mountain National Forest. To help unwind even more, experience their healing wood-fired sauna, complete with 3 windows overlooking the surrounding forest, soft candle light and an inventive air circulation system allows deep breathing in of the sweet Eucalyptus-infused steam. Freshly made meals sourced from local farms, with seasonal, organic ingredients (when available) will be provided each day

Named one of the "10-Top Eco-Destinations of North America" in Eco-Watch, Nurture Through Nature is a beautiful, eco-retreat center located in the lower sloes of Mount Pleasant in Demark, Maine. The center's intention is to hold a space for conscious, simple, green living for those interested in a return to balance. The center offers a diverse and private 33 acres of forest and trails for exploring, be it along their magical mountain book, picking wild blueberries on the granite outcrops in summer or a hike to a beautiful vista of the White Mountain National Forest. Surrounding their land is an extensive woodlands and Nature conservancy land, providing a true sanctuary into the natural world.
Nurture through Nature is committed to sustainable practices, including solar power, composting, renewable heat sources and non-toxic cleaning products. While the center encourages a return to a more simple way of living, their cabins and yurts provide an inviting stay. The main lodge is a two story meeting house constructed in 2003. The upstairs hosts a open, spacious bright space for yoga and healing arts. The back room houses a bunk too with 3 sets of hand-crafted bunks. There is a large parlor/kitchen/fining area and a deck, offering plenty of space for lounging dining or enjoying some reading.

Bunk in Shared Room (Mt Pleasant Lodge): This option is our standard accommodation. The room has 3 sets of twin bunk beds. $425
Shared "Mountain Brook" Yurt (No Electricity)*: Sleeps 4-6 (1-2 in shared queen futon, twin over full bunk bed and a single bed). Pricing is for a SINGLE retreat participant. This is a great option for a small group of friends who want to travel together and have some more privacy or any group participant that would love to have the experience of staying in a yurt. $450/pp
Solo/Couple "Sunset" Yurt (No Electricity)*: Sleeps 2-3 (1-2 in shared queen futon and in a single cot). Pricing is for a SINGLE retreat participant. This is a great option for a couple who would like to experience staying in a yurt. $475/pp
Shared "Robin's Nest" Eco-Cabin*: Sleeps 3-4 (2 in bunks and 1-2 in shared (real) full bed). We recommend this option for a small group who would like more privacy, but with the luxury of electricity. $500
Solo "Robin's Nest" Eco-Cabin*: Traveling solo and prefer not to share accommodations? "Rent out" the Robin's Nest Eco-Cabin for yourself. $600

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY FOR MAINE 2017 Retreat
Holding you spot will require a $100 NON REFUNDABLE deposit. If you cancel before 30 days of event date of 8/25/17, you will get back 75% of retreat cost; within 15 days and eligible for 50% of retreat cost. No refunds if you cancel within 14 days of event date.
***Nurture Through Nature requires a minimum of 6 participants to hold retreat. If registration does not meet the minimum of 6 people by July 30th, Lauren Turner d.b.a. Mindful Glutton has the right to cancel the retreat; if this is to happen, participants will receive a full refund.
